Driver seat has a tear but is perfectly usable as is E brake works E brake release when going to drive works (I didn't even know this was a feature back then!) Heat works All fan speeds work Defrost works (New Rear defrost lines are ran) AC clicks on. INTERIOR: Dark Green interior looks as good in person as it does in the photos Interior is complete and basically perfect other than the driver's seat wear. Looked to be coming from the radiator or a hose at first glance. I noticed it has a coolant leak from near the front but I haven't chased this down. Could likely use a carb rebuild as it stumbles when stepping on it (Likely the accelerator pump). (Pulled Motor, Machined heads, Valve Job, New Timing Gear Chain, New Sealed, Valve Lifters, Painted block, etc) Automatic transmission - Works well Power front discs (The car stops awesome) New Master Cylinder Power steering It starts and runs great. MECHANICAL 429 V8 Engine - Motor rebuilt within a 2,000 miles. A marti report could be ran for it as well. VIN - 0J83N113102 (Built at the Los Angeles plant) The car is located in Knoxville Tennessee and it has a Clean Tennessee title. A Marti report for this car would be interesting as it seems pretty rare. The trunk comes full of part boxes with original replaced parts and new (Older stock parts)Īccording to the 'Standard Catalog of American Cars' book only 1,925 Hardtops with bucket seats were made this year, and I'm sure less of those had no vinyl top. These notes had everything including gas fill ups, test drives, notes about drive, new tags, oil changes and what brand/type oil and what additives, paid insurance, tire inflation, new vacuum hoses, receipts for parts and rebuilds, part quotes, bulb replacements, tire inflation, etc. The car comes with pages and pages of handwritten maintenance records/notes. I can take a video of it starting and running. I have over 300 photos I can send to you, as well as take more. These photos are basically as-is and I did not shine up the engine bay or interior prior to taking them. This is truly a well-maintained clean car. Very original and Odometer shows 81,XXX, and this looks to be 181,000 based on the documentation. Engine was rebuilt within 2000 miles ago (Notes about rebuild below). It has a 429, automatic transmission, factory power disc brakes, power steering and aftermarket cruise control. It's an East Tennessee car and we get under 5 days of snow a year so the underside is clean. Up until his last days he maintained them all regularly and made extensive maintenance/service notes and to-do's (He recorded every test drive, gas fill up, maintenance, etc). He had multiple classic Fords and this was a primary family car for many years.
